Whether you are alone or out with friends, watching a movie is one of the most popular ways to de-stress after a long day at work. Here are 5 awesome films you must not forget to see this coming September. 😉

8 September Sully **Release date in PHL

Sully is about the heroic story of Capt. Chesley Sullenberger. He was the pilot who made an emergency landing on the Hudson River in 2009 and saved 155 lives.

What excites me about it?

  • Tom Hanks’ performance as Capt. Sully
  • How the plane landed in the Hudson River
  • The struggle and torment Sully faced in real life as bureaucrats blame him for the event
14 September Bridget Jones’ Baby **Release date in PHL

Well, Renée Zellweger is back as Bridget Jones. The movie continues her story as a top publishing executive in her 40s. Just as she decides to focus on her career, she meets Jack Qwant, a dashing handsome American man, and gets pregnant. There’s one thing though, she’s not sure if the baby’s Jack’s or Mark’s. Oooops.

What excites me about it?

  • It’s a romcom ❤️
  • The fight between a former love, Mar Darcy, and the new love, Jack Qwant
  • Performance of one of my favorite romcom-men, Colin Firth ❤️❤️
23 September I.T. **Release date in USA

Who does not love tech? Well, Mike Regan did yet, for a time being, he had to destroy all his tech near him to prevent his I.T. guy, Ed, from stalking his daughter, threatening his family, and his business.

What excites me about it?

  • Pierce Brosnan 😁
  • It’s a thriller film
  • How Mike will beat the I.T. guy (at least, I am assuming he will)
28 September Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children **Release date in PHL

Everyone is weird in their own way but not all of us are peculiar enough to get into Miss Peregrine’s home. Jacob did not know he was peculiar until his grandfather’s death.

What excites me about it?

  • The powers and skills of these peculiar children
  • How Jacob will find a way to beat the Hollowgasts
  • Directed by Tim Burton
30 September Denial **Release date in USA

What if someone wants to pervert history? What then? That is the struggle of Deborah E. Lipstadt, an acclaimed writer and historian, as someone claims the holocausts never happened.

What excites me about it?

  • It is based on the book History on Trial: My Day in Court with a Holocaust Denier
  • The courtroom drama and struggle of Lipstadt to prove holocausts did happen
  • Performance of award winning Rachel Weisz as Deborah Lipstadt
